Mission Statement

To help the families and children affected by Infantile Spasms for treatments and much more that comes with it as well.

Children are the future of today's world. Being a new mother I was unaware of a certain condition called Infantile Spasms. You could say my world was just turned around completley when our daughter was diagnosed with Infantile Spasms in April of 2008. There was a brief education on it to us from the doctor before we started the treatments. We had no idea what kind of treatments there was or even how much they would cost. ACTH cost about $25,000 for one vial of the hormone.

The side effects of this steroid are very noticeable in your child. Aubrey became very irritable, lethargic, and hungry every two hours. Aubrey's condition is just one of the many children out there affected with Infantile Spasms.

With that being said our whole thought process for this foundation is to raise money for the families with or without health insurance to be able to treat their child affected by Infantile Spasms. Also, any kind of needs that a family needs to help cope with this condition. In today's society money does not come easy and health care gets more expensive. So please help the children that need the treatment and the families that need less stress on their shoulders everyday.

This site will present our organization's cause or ideas to the world. As communicating isn't always easy, we'll try to include photos and images that convey our message. We'll also include specific information about our organization and its members, so no one forgets the people behind the pictures.
